-The Charlottesville Daily Progress sat down with Dr. Larry Sabato to look at Virginia’s pivotal role in the upcoming election
-Interesting article here about the life of a poll worker. Thanks is always due to our hard working election officials for all the do to ensure the integrity of our vote.
-Real Clear Politics speculates that Jim Webb’s announcement that he won’t accept the veep slot dooms Obama’s campaign in Virginia
-The Daily Progress has word that the Obama campaign has set a goal of registering over 150k new voters in Virginia. In 2004, the Bush campaign had a massive registration effort and handily won the votes of first time voters.
-And finally, former Fox News anchor and White House Press secretary Tony Snow is dead. Fox News and CNN have stories. My personal condolences go out to the Snow family.
